The Rauner Family YMCA Sports and Social Center, located in the heart of Pilsen, recognized the activity of its benefactors during its annual Sporting Festival. Three distinguished professional athletes who have supported the social and sporting activities of the YMCA were honored.

Roberto Garza
Martha L Gutierrez, executive director of the Rauner Family YMCA, welcomed acclaimed Bears defensive lineman Roberto Garza, who was grateful for the acknowledgement and commented about his team.

“I’m happy to be with the community, to continue helping. With the team I’m happy for our three consecutive victories. This gives us confidence to face our next rival on Sunday. The team’s goal is to end up in the Super Bowl.”

Diego Gutierrez
