The Chicago Bears five-game winning streak came to a complete halt in a blow out against the New England Patriots at Soldier Field in a blistery snowing and windy Sunday afternoon.
“We did too many things wrong, you can’t do that against good football teams,” Bears coach Lovie Smith said.

The Patriots lit up the scoreboard against a Bears defense that ranked first in the NFL in points allowed coming into the game. The Bears did manage to sack Brady three times in the game.

The Bears were out gained and outplayed.
The Patriots netted for 475 yards to the Bears 185. New England had the ball for nearly 40 minutes and didn’t have a single turnover. Meanwhile, the Bears had four turnovers and only had possession of the ball for 20 minutes.
The Bears sole touchdown of the game came in the third quarter when RB Chester Taylor ran it in for a one-yard touchdown.
