Melo to the Bulls? It could happen

by Matt Manetti | trad. Victor Flores

The Denver Nuggets appear to be in a tough spot now that the New Jersey Nets and billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov decided to end their pursuit for Carmelo Anthony, ending months of speculation the superstar would be playing in Brooklyn, where the Nets will move in 2012. So where does that leave Anthony?

The Nuggets risk losing their superstar for nothing. Anthony has said numerous times he plans to leave once his contract is up and he has aspiration to play in New York but I’m convinced if anyone besides the Nets came along, he would be willing to play with them long term.
