The NFL season has started but our team, the Chicago Bears, will debut on Sunday and I expect that we will have a year full of success for them.
I am one hundred percent with the Bears because I am a fan of every Chicago sports team. I admire the Bears’ coach, Lovie Smith, because he knows how to make the most of the players he has, because he knows how to keep them together because he knows how to handle and express himself well at every moment, under pressure, in happiness, at all times.
It is not easy to be coach of such an important team and also be patient, as Smith is. He speaks well and pauses before talking. He has a different personality from many other coaches. When you think about football, you think about reactions and actions. I wish I had Lovie Smith’s calm, his thinking and the control to be able to express myself like he does. But I am a very different person than him and that is why I admire him.
I know that the Bears’ expectations are very high this year, as is always the case with the city’s teams, but especially because of what they did the last season when they almost reached the Super Bowl. So this will not be an easy season for the Bears, because if they are not champions people will say that they are bad. I know that because that’s happened to me with the White Sox. I know how this is.
Maybe what the Bears did last year will be an important motivating factor for them to succeed this season, but it can also make them overconfident and that is not good. We must see how the team performs, because as
