I’ve always said that baseball is a business, and you have to make moves and changes at the right moments in order to go ahead for the benefit of everyone.
It is not easy to write this column in these moments, when a lot of things are passing through my head and around my life.
Managing the Chicago White Sox during the eight seasons I have has been one of the best experiences that I’ve had as a professional and as a person. That’s because I am from Chicago after having spent 22 of my 47 years of life here.
