Where can I find a free Thanksgiving dinner?

Thanksgiving Day is in less than a week, but not everyone can afford to provide their family with the usual Thanksgiving dinner. If you or someone you know is struggling to find a Thanksgiving meal or if you want to volunteer at a local church dinner, several locations in the Chicagoland area will be hosting dinners for those in need.

St. John’s will be hosting Thanksgiving dinners on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 6:30; and Thursday, Nov. 24 between 9 p.m. and 2 p.m. Volunteers are needed for this event.

St. Bride’s will hold its annual Outreach Dinner and Coat Give-A-Way from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. The church needs donations of cooked food for the event.
