Dan Burke has voted for a new jobs program that will put tens of thousands back to work and continues fighting to require companies who take tax breaks to keep their jobs here in Illinois. He has fought to make neighborhoods safe by voting for funding for the CeaseFire anti-violence program, passing new laws to target street gangs that recruit children and cracking down on child pornographers and sex offenders. He supported property tax relief for homeowners, including seniors who are struggling to afford staying in their own homes.
